About me

After high school, I was certain that I had my career path all mapped out. Thinking I would be leaving my right-brained pursuits behind, I set off to Queen’s University ready to tackle the Environmental Studies & Geography program.

Unexpectedly, my right-brain never turned off. It was during this time I realized I communicate best through imagery — both to learn and to convey information. Looking back, most of my exam notes were pictures and diagrams (yes, they were colour coded).

Graduating from university gave me the ability to research effectively, improved my writing, refined my time-management skills and enabled me to think critically. But most importantly, it gave me the realization that graphic design was the career path for me  — it gives me a voice for my passions. Having had these left-brain and right-brain experiences, I am able to find innovative and meaningful graphic design solutions, regardless of the subject matter.
